Redskins sign CB Rogers
The Washington Redskins signed free agent cornerback Justin Rogers on Wednesday.
The 5-foot-11, 181-pound Rogers was originally selected by the Buffalo Bills in the seventh round of the 2011 draft. He appeared in 34 games with seven starts for the Bills from 2011-13, compiling 73 tackles, 14 passes defensed and three interceptions. During the 2011-12 seasons, Rogers returned 15 kickoffs for a 28.5-yard average with Buffalo.
Rogers, 26, was waived by the Bills claimed off waivers by the Houston Texans. He appeared in one game with the Texans in 2013, before being waived. Rogers also had stints with the Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs.
