Redskins reportedly claim DT Robertson
The Washington Redskins claimed defensive tackle Travian Robertson off waivers from the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Robertson, a third-year player, was released by the Seahawks on Friday. He had appeared in one game since signing with Seattle on Nov. 18.
Robertson played for the Atlanta Falcons in 2012-2013.
The Redskins need some depth along the defensive line for the finale Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys because defensive end Jason Hatcher is expected to miss his third straight game with a knee injury. He missed practice all week and is listed as doubtful.
