Redskins RB Morris replaces Eagles’ McCoy in Pro Bowl
Washington Redskins running back Alfred Morris was named to the Pro Bowl on Monday in place of LeSean McCoy of the Philadelphia Eagles.
The selection is the second of Morris’ career. He joins tackle Trent Williams as the Redskins’ Pro Bowl representatives.
In 16 games, Morris rushed for 1,074 yards on 256 carries and scored eight touchdowns, becoming the first player in Redskins history to rush for 1,000 yards in each of his first three seasons.
McCoy withdrew due to injury.
The annual game will take place on Sunday at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.
