Redskins K Forbath signs tender

Washington Redskins kicker Kai Forbath, a restricted free agent, signed his $1.54 million tender Thursday.
Forbath is entering his fourth season with the Redskins since joining the team in 2012. In 40 games, he has converted 88.1 percent of his field-goal tries (59 of 67).
Last season, he hit 24 of 27 (88.9 percent), the third-highest percentage by a Redskins kicker, trailing only Mark Moseley (95.2 percent in 1982) and Forbath’s debut season in 2012 (94.4).
