Redskins’ Hatcher Pondering Retirement

Redskins defensive end Jason Hatcher is contemplating retirement but the team may be trying to convince him to return in 2016. He had a quick talk with general manager Scot McCloughan as he left the field after the Redskins’ loss to the Packers in the wild card round of the playoffs. McCloughan said that he would welcome Hatcher back next season. “I’ve been thinking lately about this being my last year, you know, retiring” said Hatcher when asked about his talk with McCloughan. “One thing I’ve got to pray about. [McCloughan] said he wanted me around.”
