The Washington Redskins made a series of roster moves on Tuesday that included placing two players on injured reserve.

The Redskins put guard Shawn Lauvao and cornerback Justin Rogers on injured reserve. Lauvao suffered a sprained left ankle during the first quarter of the Redskins’ 32-21 loss to the New York Giants last week and Rogers has been plagued by plantar fasciitis.

To replace them, the Redskins signed free agent linebacker Mason Foster and promoted cornerback Quinton Dunbar from the practice squad to the active roster. Dunbar was signed by the Redskins as an undrafted free agent wide receiver before moving to cornerback in training camp. Foster was with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for four years before he was cut by the Chicago Bears at the end of training camp.

The Redskins also signed center Austin Reiter to the practice squad. Reiter was a seventh-round draft pick from USF who was cut at the end of the preseason and re-signed to the practice squad.
