Ravens WR Perriman out indefinitely after surgery
The Sports Xchange
Baltimore Ravens rookie wide receiver Breshad Perriman is sidelined indefinitely after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery this week, according to a report.
Perriman, the Ravens’ first-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, was injured during training camp and last week reinjured the PCL during pregame warmups before a game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Dr. James Andrews performed the surgery, NFL.com reported Thursday.
The injury has prevented Perriman from playing in a preseason game and now the regular season.
The Ravens (0-3) are winless entering their Thursday night matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Perriman already had been ruled out by the Ravens for the game before the report of the surgery. Baltimore also will be without tight end Crockett Gillmore, who has a calf injury.
