The Baltimore Ravens signed former New Orleans Saints wide receiver Joe Morgan, according to reports Wednesday.

With Steve Smith Sr. out for the season, the Ravens worked out a number of receivers Tuesday, including Hakeem Nicks, the former New York Giants standout.

Smith tore his Achilles’ tendon in the third quarter Sunday against the San Diego Chargers.

Morgan, 27, has 14 career catches for 471 yards and three touchdowns in three seasons, and has been released three times this season by the Saints. He does not have a catch this season.

The Ravens also signed wide receiver Chuck Jacobs to their practice squad, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Jacobs, 25, was on the San Francisco 49ers’ practice squad in 2013, but he spent last season on injured reserve after tearing his ACL in the first preseason game against the Ravens.
