Ravens Dealing with Wide Receiver Issues

Published

on

Baltimore’s resident touchdown machine, Torrey Smith, was not on the field for the Ravens’ last series on Sunday and wouldn’t discuss what seemed to be a knee injury afterward.

“That’s something that coach and I will have to address,” Smith said, via ESPN. “I don’t know when I’m supposed to be going and and when I am not supposed to be going. I’ll let Coach handle it.”

John Harbaugh declined to provide an update after his team’s heartbreaking 34-33 loss to San Diego, though it did underscore what seems to be a serious wide receiver problem developing in Baltimore.

Marlon Brown went down with a concussion and Steve Smith, by his own admission, played one of his worst games in Baltimore.

“I pretty much played terrible,” Smith said, via The Baltimore Sun. “When I got an opportunity, I didn’t do anything to help us offensively. In a situation like that, they’re playing with 10 men. That falls directly on me.”
