Ravens coaches to work Pro Bowl
The Baltimore Ravens’ staff agreed Tuesday to serve as replacement coaches for the AFC team in the Pro Bowl.
The two highest-seeded teams to lose in the divisional playoff round are supposed to handle coaching duties in the annual all-star game, but the Denver Broncos fired head coach John Fox on Monday and the Dallas Cowboys are attempting to re-sign Jason Garrett.
The Baltimore Sun confirmed that coach John Harbaugh said his staff will work the Jan. 25 game in Glendale, Ariz.
According to reports, the NFL also is looking for a staff to take charge of the NFC side, and that could be the Carolina Panthers, who joined the Ravens in losing in the divisional round. But the league apparently had not contacted the Carolina franchise as of Tuesday morning.
