St. Louis Rams rookie running back Todd Gurley is expected to make his NFL debut Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Coach Jeff Fisher told NFL Media’s Steve Wyche that Gurley, the first-round draft pick from Georgia who has been sidelined with a torn ACL in his left knee suffered last November, should see some action.

The Rams listed Gurley as questionable on Friday, but Fisher said he was “really pleased with the progress this week” from Gurley, who split first-team reps in practice with Tre Mason.

Gurley is not expected to see too many snaps, as the team wants to bring him along slowly.

Gurley took to Twitter: “It’s Gameday Yessirr!!”

Gurley rushed for 3,285 yards and 36 touchdowns in three seasons with the Bulldogs. He was taken with the 10th overall pick by St. Louis.
