Raiders Want Third Shot At Chiefs In Playoffs

See why Jack Del Rio believes they may face the Kansas City Chiefs again.

For the first time in what feels like forever, NFL fans finally had a Thursday night game worth looking forward to. With first place in the AFC West on the line, the Kansas City Chiefs held on to defeat hated rival Oakland 21-13. This win for Kansas City completes the season sweep.

However, both teams are virtual locks to make the playoffs, which means we could be seeing these two square off for a third time in January. Raiders head coach Jack Del Rio believes it’s a real possibility.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if we see this team again. What we do and what they do the next three weeks will determine whether it’s at their place or ours, because they’re a half game up on us,” Del Rio said.

Derek Carr echoed similar sentiments.

“There’s obviously a chance to play again which would be awesome, but they’ve beaten us twice. They’ve had us,” Carr said.

If these two, in fact, do see each other in the postseason, I don’t believe anyone would be complaining.
