Raiders Switch Taiwan Jones From CB to RB
The new Oakland Raiders coaching staff disagrees with the old coaching staff on which position best suits Taiwan Jones.
The team’s official website noted on Tuesday that the 26-year-old will move back to running back.
Jones was drafted as a running back in the fourth round of the 2011 draft. After two seasons at the position as a reserve — carrying the ball just 22 times — Dennis Allen moved him to cornerback. The speedster never quite adjusted to the switch and remained at the bottom of the depth chart last season.
