The Oakland Raiders have signed first-round wide receiver Amari Cooper, the team said Thursday.

The team did not announce terms of the contract, but it is expected to be a four-year deal worth about $20 million, including a $12.8 million signing bonus.

Cooper, the fourth overall selection in the 2015 NFL Draft, set Alabama records with 228 receptions, 3,463 yards and 31 touchdowns in 40 games over three seasons.

Cooper, who is 6 feet 1 and 211 pounds, ranks third in SEC history in receptions, second in yards and first in touchdowns.

As a senior, he caught 124 passes for a conference-record 1,727 yards and 16 touchdowns — earning him unanimous All-American honors, the Biletnikoff Award as the nation’s best receiver, the SEC Offensive Player of the Year award and third-place status in Heisman Trophy voting.
