Raiders RB Murray leaves game with concussion
A game that began with the first two touchdowns of Latavius Murray’s ended early for the Oakland Raiders’ second-year running back.
Murray exited in the second quarter with a concussion after a hit from Kansas City Chiefs defensive back Kurt Coleman. He was ruled out for the remainder of the night.
Prior to getting hurt, Murray ripped off touchdown runs of 11 and 90 yards. He gained 112 yards on four carries. According to NFL.com, Murray became the first NFL player ever to top 100 yards and score two touchdowns in a game when receiving fewer than six carries.
Entering the night, Murray had 10 carries for 54 yards on the season.
