Quinn reportedly hopes to make comeback
Quarterback Brady Quinn, the former first-round pick of the Cleveland Browns, is making a comeback attempt after starting a broadcast career, according to the Boston Glove.
The newspaper reported that Quinn is working out in Florida with quarterback coach Jeff Christensen, who counts Patriots backup Jimmy Garoppolo among his past pupils.
Quinn, 30, is currently a college football and NFL game analyst for FOX Sports.
Quinn played for five teams in a career that spanned from 2007 to 2013. He spent a couple of weeks with the Miami Dolphins last summer and had stints with the St. Louis Rams, New York Jets and Seattle Seahawks in 2013 without seeing any regular-season action.
The last time Quinn got into a regular-season game was with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2012 when he made eight starts.
