Perry, Bush, Jones inactive for Packers-Patriots
GREEN BAY, Wisc. — Nick Perry and Jarrett Bush are active for the Green Bay Packers’ game against the New England Patriots on Sunday.
Perry (shoulder) and Bush (groin) were listed as questionable and also missed last week’s game against Minnesota. Before the injury, Perry had started back-to-back games against Chicago and Philadelphia, which coincided with Clay Matthews’ move into a part-time role at inside linebacker.
The big names among the inactives belong to New England, with defensive end Chandler Jones and long snapper Danny Aiken. Jones started six of the first seven games but will now miss a fifth consecutive game with an injured hip.
However, he was limited at practice all week and listed as questionable for the game. Even while missing the past four games, he’s second on the team with 4.5 sacks and third with seven quarterback hits.
Aiken (concussion) will be replaced by Rob Ninkovich, who doubles as the Patriots’ top pass rusher with six sacks.
For the Packers, none of their inactives are injury-related. Quarterback Scott Tolzien, cornerback Demetri Goodson, linebacker Carl Bradford, center Garth Gerhart, tight end Justin Perillo, receiver Jeff Janis and defensive tackle Luther Robinson.
The Patriots’ other inactives are cornerback Malcolm Butler, running back James White, linebacker Chris White and offensive linemen Jordan Devey and Cameron Fleming
