Panthers LB Kuechly among inactives

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly is among the players inactive for Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans.

Kuechly suffered a concussion last week at Jacksonville.

The Carolina defense also will be without defensive tackle Star Lotulelei, who remains out with a preseason injury. Other Panthers inactives included tight end Richie Brockel and safety Dean Marlowe.

Houston will be without running back Arian Foster, who has a groin injury. Receiver Jaelen Strong is also out, along with linebacker Mike Mohamed, safety Lonnie Ballentine and tackles Duane Brown and Oday Aboushi.
