Panthers’ Jonathan Stewart Plans to Start vs Packers
When Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart is injured, he’ll typically say he expects to play in the next game, just like he expects to play every game.
Those Sundays sometimes come and go without Stewart on the field.
Wednesday, after participating fully in practice, Stewart was more definitive in saying he will play, and start, for the Panthers this week at Green Bay.
Stewart said he “felt pretty good” on the practice field Wednesday, more than three weeks after suffering a knee sprain against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sept. 21.
