Packers TE Bostick ruled out
Green Bay Packers tight end Brandon Bostick has been ruled out with a hip injury for Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Bostick caught his first touchdown of the season last week against the Chicago Bears.
Head coach Mike McCarthy said Bostick might be able to come back as soon as next week.
“I think his work Tuesday will probably be the biggest indicator,” McCarthy said Friday. “It’s not long-term. It’s not a big injury.”
Elsewhere on the injury report, reserve linebacker Jayrone Elliott has also been ruled out with a hamstring injury. Starting guards Josh Sitton (toe) and T.J. Lang (ankle) are probable and expected to play despite missing most or all of practice for the second straight week.
“They’re going through rehab today, doing all the light work,” McCarthy said of Sitton and Lang. “As far as what they can do tomorrow, probably next to nothing. I want to make sure the younger players get the reps.”
