Packers release four recent draft picks

The Green Bay Packers released four recent draft picks among 22 moves Saturday as they reached the NFL-mandated roster limit of 53 players.

The draft picks were defensive lineman Khyri Thornton, a third-round selection in 2014; linebacker Carl Bradford, a fourth-rounder last year; fifth-round rookie wide receiver Jared Abbrederis and sixth-round rookie defensive lineman Christian Ringo.

The Packers also cut running backs Rajion Neal and John Crockett; wide receivers Larry Pinkard (waived/injured) and Ed Williams; tight ends Justin Perillo and Mitchell Henry; offensive linemen Matt Rotheram, Garth Gerhart, Andy Phillips and Jeremy Vujnovich; linebackers Joe Thomas, James Vaughters and Jermauria Rasco (waived/injured); cornerbacks Tay Glover-Wright and Ryan White and safety Jean Fanor.

Defensive linemen Datone Jones and Letroy Guion both were placed on the reserve/suspended list. Jones is suspended for the season opener and Guion will miss the first three games.
