Niners RB Bush doubtful versus Cardinals

San Francisco 49ers running back Reggie Bush is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals due to a persistent calf injury.

Bush will likely miss his second straight game since being injured in the season-opening contest against the Minnesota Vikings. He missed practice again on Friday and hasn’t participated since suffering the injury.

San Francisco coach Jim Tomsula said he’s not interested in playing Bush until he’s 100 percent recovered.

“We could probably do one of those 80-percenter things and I’m not interested in 80 percent,” Tomsula told reporters. “To me, 80 percent starts to linger. If he’s really rolling and feeling really good, then we will move accordingly. But if there’s anything there, we’re not going to do it.”

Carlos Hyde, who leads the NFL with 211 rushing yards, is listed as probable with a quadriceps injury. Hyde suffered a head injury and injured the quadriceps during last Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
