San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh will not return next season even if the team wins the Super Bowl, Fox Sports reported Sunday.

It has been widely reported that Harbaugh and general manager Trent Baalke have had a tense relationship. That could stem from Harbaugh wanting more money, more power or the two may just have a personality conflict.

Harbaugh also began losing the trust of some of his players when he was not honest with former quarterback Alex Smith about the team’s pursuit of Peyton Manning in 2012, according to ESPN.

CBS Sports reported that Harbaugh could be traded after the season. There was talk last offseason about Harbaugh being dealt to the Cleveland Browns, but discussions between the two teams did not go far.

Oakland Raiders owner Mark Davis could be interested in Harbaugh, who began his NFL coaching career in Oakland in charge of quarterbacks. The Miami Dolphins may also make another run at Harbaugh. Miami tried to hire Harbaugh in 2011 before he decided to go with the 49ers.

—Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning became the second quarterback in NFL history to throw 500 touchdown passes.

Manning hooked up with tight end Julius Thomas for a 7-yard touchdown with just under five minutes left in the first quarter against the Arizona Cardinals.

Manning’s second touchdown pass of the day left him seven shy of Brett Favre’s career record of 508 touchdown passes.

—The Broncos lost running back Montee Ball (groin/hip) in the third quarter.

—Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson aggravated an existing ankle injury on his only catch of the game Sunday, and left the game. He was joined on the sideline by running back Reggie Bush, who also suffered an ankle injury.

—Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher denied a report by ESPN that he doubted the abilities of former Seminoles star quarterback EJ Manuel as a pro prospect before the 2013 NFL Draft.

According to the report, Fisher was honest in his assessment to NFL teams that Manuel had limitations as an NFL quarterback.

“I’m not sure why ESPN’s Adam Schefter would not reach out to me to get my thoughts on EJ Manuel or check the accuracy of his report,” Fisher said in a statement released by Florida State. “I never made those comments about EJ. I spoke to Buddy Nix of the Buffalo Bills and told him EJ is an outstanding young man and player. He was the face of our organization and would be a great one for them. I did not speak to any other teams, general managers or head coaches about EJ.”

—Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray has been offered a new four-year contract that would pay him more than any free agent running back earned last offseason, according to NFL.com.

Murray, whose rookie contract expires after this season, led the NFL in carries (99), rushing yards (534) and rushing touchdowns (5) entering Sunday. uld pay him more than any free agent running back earned last offseason, according to NFL.com.

–The health of former Green Bay Packers quarterback Bart Starr is much worse than previously suggested.

A month after it was announced that Starr had a mild stroke, his wife, Cherry, said in a statement on the team’s web site that the 80-year-old Hall of Famer has actually had two strokes and a heart attack.

—Former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice, his wife Janay and former attorney Michael Diamondstein will speak with those involved in the Robert Mueller and NFLPA’s investigations, according to ESPN.

As Rice has prepared to cooperate in each investigation, his new attorney, Peter Ginsberg, decided to have the interviews done for both investigations at the same time.

—Tensions between Tom Brady and the New England Patriots coaching staff may result in the quarterback finishing his career with another team, according to ESPN.

Two sources told ESPN that quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo was drafted to be Brady’s successor and that the move could happen soon.

—Tennessee Titans quarterback Jake Locker left Sunday’s game with a right hand injury. Locker left the game with a 14-3 lead in the second quarter when Browns cornerback Buster Skrine hit Locker high. He did not return and was replaced by Charlie Whitehurst.

—New York Giants running back Rashad Jennings left Sunday’s game with a sprained knee. He was replaced by rookie Andre Williams.

—New Orleans Saints All-Pro tight end Jimmy Graham left Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a shoulder injury.

–San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis is inactive for Sunday’s game against the visiting Kansas City Chiefs because of a back injury.

—Arizona Cardinals defensive end Calais Campbell is likely to miss at least a month with a knee injury. He was injured on a chop block by Denver Broncos tight end Julius Thomas.

— Cardinals quarterback Drew Stanton left Sunday’s game in the third quarter and was evaluated for a possible concussion.
