The most comprehensive set of weekly power rankings anywhere on the web now moves to the rookies, as we look at our top offensive and defensive first-year players. Check out last week’s rookie power rankings here.

Offensive Rookie Power Rankings

1. Kelvin Benjamin, Carolina Panthers– Kelvin Benjamin has stepped in for five-time Pro Bowler Steve Smith and there really hasn’t been any drop off. Benjamin makes acrobatic catches every week and is Cam Newton’s go-to guy. He leads all rookies in receiving yards by a significant margin (253-186), and could actually go to the Pro Bowl if he keeps up this type of production.

2. Brandin Cooks, New Orleans Saints– Cooks is increasing his role in the Saints’ offense as he’s used as a Percy-Harvin type of clone with legitimate running and receiving abilities. Cooks leads all rookies with 18 receptions.

3. Allen Hurns, Jacksonville Jaguars– The undrafted rookie not only made the Jaguars roster, but earned a starting spot. Although he scuffled in Week 2, Hurns is gaining the reputation of a big-play threat as he leads all rookies with three touchdown catches and yards per catch (26.6).

Defensive Rookie Power Rankings

1. Kyle Fuller, Chicago Bears– Fuller continues to make Peanut Tillman proud as he is Chicago’s best cover cornerback and he notched his third interception of the season, which leads not only all rookies but the entire NFL.

2. Preston Brown, Buffalo Bills– Preston Brown has shown sideline-to-sideline chase ability as he’s filling in admirably for last year’s rookie stud Kiko Alonso, who was lost for the season.

3. Anthony Barr, Minnesota Vikings– Barr was a great value pick for the Vikings at ninth overall and he’s filling up the stat sheet on a weekly basis. Barr has fit in nicely in Mike Zimmer’s defense and is shaping up to be the best pass rusher among rookies this season.
