NFC Playoff Predictions
Find out who we have making the playoffs in the NFC.
Now that training camp is here and the first preseason game was canceled, it’s time to give our playoff predictions for the NFL season. We began with the American Football Conference and now we move to the National Football Conference as we give you the four division champions and two wildcards.
NFC East Champion- New York Giants- This might be another division champion by default situation as the Giants don’t smell like a playoff team, but who else in the NFC East does? New York seems to have the fewest amount of warts of any team in the division.
NFC North Champion- Green Bay Packers- The Vikings are built for long-term success, but they won’t be able to run, punt and play good defense past the best quarterback in the world two years in a row. Jordy Nelson is back and the Packers will win the division.
NFC South Champion- New Orleans Saints- This could be Drew Brees and Sean Payton’s last stand. This year the Saints will find just enough defense to scratch out 10 wins as they will lean more on Mark Ingram and the running game.
NFC West Champion- Seattle Seahawks- Having a postseason like Carson Palmer did could affect his confidence and set the Cardinals a few steps back. Seattle still has a great roster even without Marshawn Lynch, and Russell Wilson will continue to progress into elite quarterback status.
NFC Wildcard #1- Arizona Cardinals- It’s tough to imagine a roster as good as Arizona’s with a coach as good as Bruce Arians not making the tournament. Too many great players on both sides of the ball.
NFC Wildcard #2- Carolina Panthers- Carolina has to take a step back from last year’s 15-1 regular season, but they won’t miss the postseason. Cam Newton is still great, but the lack of a consistent running game will keep them from winning the division for the fourth consecutive season.
