NFC Director on Romo: His Franchise Days Are Over

Published

on

Following the very heartfelt speech by Tony Romo earlier in the week, many are wondering what’s next for the former Pro Bowler. Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones seems reluctant on trading Romo elsewhere, but if they completely commit to Dak Prescott for the present and future, odds are Romo will be taking his talents somewhere. An anonymous NFC pro personnel director offered his opinion on the matter:

“His franchise days are over. Not because he isn’t talented, but you can’t trust that he is going to be in the lineup. … Arizona is the first team that comes to mind as a possible fit. The window for him and them is closing, and I don’t think Carson Palmer’s heart is in it.”

Only time will tell.
