Murray, Watt among Pro Bowl playing captains

Team bosses Cris Carter and Michael Irvin selected playing captains for their Pro Bowl teams, and part of the squads were determined Tuesday night.

Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray and Cleveland Browns cornerback Joe Haden are the captains for Team Irvin, while Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown head up Team Carter for the all-star game that will be played Sunday night in Glendale, Ariz.

The teams then each added 13 players from among guards, centers, fullbacks, interior defensive linemen, placekickers, punters, return specialists and special teamers.

Team Irvin added St. Louis Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald, New York Jets defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson, Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Geno Atkins, Cowboys guard Zack Martin, Baltimore Ravens guard Marshal Yanda, Chicago Bears guard Kyle Long, Cowboys center Travis Frederick, Jets guard Nick Mangold, Oakland Raiders fullback Marcel Reece, Bengals punter Kevin Huber, Indianapolis Colts placekicker Adam Vinatieri, San Diego Chargers special teams player Darrell Stuckey and Philadelphia Eagles return specialist Darren Sproles.

Team Carter picked Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Marcell Dareus, Bills defensive tackle Kyle Williams, Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Dontari Poe, Miami Dolphins guard Mike Pouncey, Green Bay Packers guard Josh Sitton, Eagles guard Evan Mathis, Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey, Eagles center Jason Kelce, Packers fullback John Kuhn, Colts punter Pat Mc Afee, Eagles placekicker Cody Parkey, Arizona Cardinals special teams player Justin Bethel and Atlanta Falcons return specialist Devin Hester.

Other players will be added to the teams Wednesday during a Wednesday draft that will air on NFL Network at 8 p.m. EST. Team Carter will make the first pick.
