Mike McCarthy Explains What Sixth Loss Does to Packers
No one will argue with you if you say the Green Bay Packers are the biggest disappointment in football through 11 weeks. With Jordy Nelson back in the fold, many expected the cheeseheads to compete for the Vince Lombardi trophy.
Theoretically, it’s still a possibility, but as head coach Mike McCarthy expressed after their sixth loss last night, it won’t be easy getting out of this hole.
“Six losses puts your ass against the wall,” coach Mike McCarthy said. “Disappointing. Reality is we are 4-6. We understand clearly what is in front of us.”
Things don’t get easier as the Packers travel to Philadelphia for Monday night football.
