Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning went through team stetching exercises but left Thursday’s practice to receive treatment on his strained thigh, the Denver Post reported.

According to the Post, Manning did not suffer further injury to the thigh and is expected to practice Friday.

Manning left last Sunday’s game against the San Diego Chargers late in the first half with a thigh issue but was able to return for the third quarter. He also battled flu-like symptoms during the game.

The Broncos are preparing for a Monday night game against the Bengals in Cincinnati.
