Laremy Tunsil Visits Chargers

Published

Some high draft picks are hits. Others are misses. Whichever the result for the Chargers at No. 3, it won’t be for a lack of research. Former Mississippi offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil visited the team on Monday, a source said, making him the latest top prospect to do so. Ex-Oregon defensive end DeForest Buckner is among the others the Chargers are known to have hosted in recent weeks. The team does not disclose which 30 prospects it hosts or the larger number it works out.  Tunsil isn’t new to San Diego. He trained here in advance of the NFL Scouting Combine in February, working out at the EXOS facility in Carlsbad. He could be the off the board as early as No. 1 overall to the Titans, a team he’s scheduled to visit later this week.
