Kaepernick Thinks Highly of New OC Jim Tomsula
Colin Kaepernick finds himself playing for a new head coach and new offensive coordinator for the first time in his NFL career, but they aren’t new faces.
The San Francisco 49ers’ quarterback told FOX Sports on Thursday the continuity and relationship with players that Jim Tomsula brings is a benefit, because the team won’t have to start over from scratch.
“Jim Tomsula’s gonna be a great coach for us,” Kaepernick said. “Players coach, always around the guys. Someone that’s willing to listen to what players say and has their intake. And I think that’s something that will help this team move forward. We have a lot of veteran players that know what they’re seeing on the field and know what they’re doing, so I think that will help us.”
