Josh Cribbs Says He’ll Leap into Dawg Pound on Sunday

Published

on

When Josh Cribbs “moseys” down to the Dawg Pound on Sunday before his Colts take on the Browns, he will have ulterior motives.

After playing eight seasons for the Browns and leaving as the franchise leader in kickoff returns, Cribbs plans to seek out old friends in the front row of the east end zone at FirstEnergy Stadium.

But it will also be a scouting mission. If he returns a kick or punt for a touchdown, he vowed Wednesday to jump into the Dawg Pound and wants to make sure Browns fans will catch him.

“You’ll definitely see me in the stadium hugging fans. If I had the opportunity to score, I would jump in the Dawg Pound to hug those guys who helped create me and helped give me the strength and the motivation to become what I am today,” Cribbs said on a conference call.
