Jon Beason to Practice, Could Play This Week
Beason aggravated his foot injury in a Week 2 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. He felt a pop and feared the worst. After it felt better by mid-week and he visited foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson in North Carolina on Friday, the veteran linebacker began preparation for being ready to play by Thursday.
It now appears there is a realistic chance, if Beason can prove to the Giants he can play through the problem.
“We’re going to see to what extent Jon can be a part of our on-the-field work [this week],” coach Tom Coughlin said on Monday.
