Jets-Browns inactives: QB Manziel to back up

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel (elbow) will serve as the backup to Josh McCown in Sunday’s game against the New York Jets.

Browns wide receiver Dwayne Bowe is inactive with a hamstring injury.

Jets inactives: Quarterback Geno Smith, wide receiver Devin Smith, cornerback Dexter McDougle, running back Zac Stacy, guard Jarvis Harrison, tackle Ben Ijalana and nose tackle Deon Simon

Browns inactives: Quarterback Austin Davis, defensive back Justin Gilbert, running back Robert Turbin, linebacker Nate Orchard, wide receiver Dwayne Bowe, tight end E.J. Bibbs and defensive lineman Xavier Cooper.
