Jack Del Rio Explains Derek Carr’s Weird Pass
Jack Del Rio offers an explanation for bizarre Derek Carr pass.
Less than a week ago, the Oakland Raiders lost control of first place in the AFC West against the Kansas City Chiefs. After digging themselves into a 21-3 hole, the Raiders fought back, only to lose by a final score of 21-13.
However, during the contest, Derek Carr had Amari Cooper streaking down the field, but somehow, the ball just died out of nowhere. Everyone was confused on what exactly happened, but head coach Jack Del Rio offered an explanation.
“The angel in the outfield.” Del Rio stated.
He didn’t stop there.
“I mean, it moved. You know?,” Del Rio stressed. “I don’t know if it hit a wire or an angel in the outfield moved it, a gust of wind. I don’t know. It moved.”
Despite being behind Kansas City in the division, the Raiders are sitting comfortably in the first wildcard slot.
