Hard Feelings For Jeff Fisher Following His Golden Parachute
If there was a human definition of NFL mediocrity, the embodiment would be former Los Angeles Rams head coach Jeff Fisher.
After tying Dan Reeves for the most head coaching losses in NFL history, the Rams decided to put Fisher out of his misery and let him go just three days before he would have inevitably broken the record.
This was just weeks after a contract extension was announced for Fisher, granting him an additional $15 million of walking away cash. That doesn’t seem to be enough to cure the sour grapes from the perpetual 7-9 head coach.
“I want a chance to play the Rams,” Fisher tells FOX in an interview to be aired during Sunday’s pregame show.
Now Fisher knows how the rest of the NFL feels, as they too wanted a chance to play the Rams when he was the head coach.
