Pro Football Hall of Famer Warren Sapp pled guilty Thursday to one charge of domestic violence, stemming from an incident in Las Vegas, according to published reports.

Two other domestic violence charges were dropped in exchange for the admission of guilt in a plea deal.

Sapp was ordered to pay $2,895 in fines and restitution, undergo six months of domestic violence counseling and perform 48 hours of community service. He also is to have no contact with former girlfriend Chalyce Moore and must stay out of trouble for at least six months.

Sapp was accused of assaulting Moore on April 28 in an incident that began at a Las Vegas resort. The altercation continued at Moore’s home where Sapp stomped on her head, according to court documents.

Sapp was facing 18 months in jail if convicted on all charges.

The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Oakland Raiders standout also was arrested in February in Phoenix for assault and soliciting sex from a prostitute during Super Bowl weekend. He pled guilty to both charges and later had the solicitation charge dropped by completing a diversion program.
