Gronkowski ready for bigger role
Through the first three games, Rob Gronkowski’s numbers are fairly ordinary.
He has played in less than 50 percent of the team’s offensive snaps. He been targeted only 23 times and caught 11 of those passes, and recorded two touchdowns.
Heading into Week 4’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday night, Gronkowski has declared that he is ready to start “rolling more and more.”
“I don’t feel limited at all,” Gronkowski told the Providence Journal. “I’m just working my way back into it, working the body back into it. I think it’s going very well. Every week I keep on progressing.”
The Patriots tight end says his surgically repaired knee is fit and that he is “getting to the point where we can start rolling more and more.”
