Griffin expected to start vs. Vikings
Quarterback Robert Griffin III is expected to start for the Washington Redskins Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.
Griffin has been out since dislocating an ankle against the Jacksonville Jaguars the second game of the season.
Griffin returned to practice last week after missing six games.
Kirk Cousins filled in for Griffin until he was injured and replaced by Colt McCoy.
Not active for the Redskins for Sunday’s are Cousins, wide receiver Aldrick Robinson, running back Silas Redd, Jr., cornerback Greg Ducre, linebacker Jackson Jeffcoat, guard Spencer Long and tackle Tyler Polumnus.
