Goodell Would Like To Keep Raiders and Chargers in Their Current Homes
We could have not one, but two NFL teams planning a move as early as the start of the 2017 season. With the Chargers new stadium bill being defeated in the election, they could move north to Los Angeles.
Of course, Las Vegas is paving the way for the Raiders to move southwest as they approved a bill funding a $2 billion stadium.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell would like to keep the status quo.
“If we get our issues resolved in San Diego and our issues resolved in Oakland, I think that’s the ideal solution, frankly,” Goodell said. “I think that’s what we would all like to see happen. But there’s a lot that has to get done in those two communities to get there.”
