For the second time in five weeks, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said he expects the Deflategate report from investigator Ted Wells to be released “soon.”

Goodell, who made a similar appraisal during the spring owner’s meeting in Phoenix, told “CBS This Morning” host Charlie Rose that Wells was done with the interview phase of his investigation into claims by the Indianapolis Colts that the New England Patriots deflated game balls in the AFC Championship game.

“I do think it will be soon,” Goodell said Tuesday. “We have a responsibility to the 32 teams, not just the one team, to 32 teams, and our fans, and the general public here, to make sure things we’re done fairly.”

Wells is more than three months into the NFL-appointed investigation. He previously handled the Miami Dolphins bullying scandal that led to punishment for veteran offensive guard Richie Incognito.
