Gary Kubiak Diffused Locker Room Shouting Match
Find out why Gary Kubiak had to break up the team in the locker room.
In what was a much-needed win for the Broncos, Denver was completely and utterly dominated by the New England Patriots. Despite holding Tom Brady and company to 16 points, Denver was unable to get anything going offensively.
Trevor Siemian only completed 25 of 40 passes, but he did throw for 282 yards. Everytime Denver moved the ball into Patriots territory things instantly went downhill. Following the disappointing defeat, head coach Gary Kubiak asked if anybody wanted to address the team.
Newly acquired offensive tackle Russell Okung stood up, which caused friction. According to reports, Aqib Talib wasn’t too fond of an offensive guy talking considering they didn’t get the job done. This caused a shouting match between offensive and defensive guys. Before things got too out of hand, Kubiak diffused the situation.
With two weeks remaining, not only do the Broncos need to win out, they’ll also need some help along the way. Unfortunately, their last two contests are against the Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders.
Brutal.
