The Atlanta Falcons will be without running back Tevin Coleman for a second consecutive week as the rookie continues to recover from a cracked rib.

Coleman did not practice again Friday and was ruled out for Sunday’s home game against the Houston Texans, along with tight end Jacob Tamme (concussion), safety Ricardo Allen (knee) and wide receiver Devin Hester (toe).

Devonta Freeman, who will start again in place of Coleman, was listed as probable with a toe injury along with wide receiver Julio Jones (toe, hamstring) and linebacker Brooks Reed (groin).

Levine Toilolo will receive increased snaps with Tamme out, and recently-signed Mickey Shuler will likely be active on game day as well.

Coach Dan Quinn said Robenson Therezie, an undrafted rookie who was a cornerback at Auburn, will start in place of Allen at free safety.

“As you guys know, he’s somebody that we’ve been really excited about,” Quinn said. “The opportunity for him to come in and play middle field safety; we’re really excited for him. He’s had a terrific offseason in terms of coming back, the camp that he had, and getting the details down.

“He worked really hard with (secondary coach) Marquand Manuel to get it right, and we’re really excited for him.”
