The Atlanta Falcons signed fullback Patrick DiMarco and defensive end Cliff Matthews to contract extensions on Tuesday.

The Falcons also announced the signing of wide receiver Nick Williams.

DiMarco has 17 receptions for 111 yards and one touchdown in 30 games, including 14 starts, for the Falcons during the past two seasons. The Falcons originally signed DiMarco to the practice squad in 2013 after he spent the 2012 season with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Matthews, a sixth-round draft pick by the Falcons in 2011, has played in 32 games, mostly on special teams, for Atlanta during the past four years and has six tackles on defense and three on special teams.

Williams signed with the Washington Redskins in 2013 as a college free agent and played in five games as a rookie receiver and returner. He had three receptions for 15 yards.
