Eagles QB Foles targets late December return
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles is eyeing a late December return from a cracked clavicle.
Foles is hopeful he’ll be cleared to return Week 16 against the Washington Redskins. The Eagles end the regular season with a game against the New York Giants.
“He’s involved in every single meeting,” offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur said. “He’s out there on the field. He’s throwing and running.”
Mark Sanchez started his fourth game of the season Thursday against the Dallas Cowboys. He replaced Foles Nov. 2 at Houston, guiding the Eagles to a win by going 15 of 22 for 202 yards and two touchdown passes and two interceptions.
