Eagles make coaching moves
The Philadelphia Eagles named Cory Undlin defensive backs coach and promoted Justin Peelle to tight ends coach on Monday.
Undlin was the secondary coach of the Denver Broncos in 2013 and 2014. Peelle spent the last two years as the Eagles’ assistant tight ends coach.
Undlin replaces John Lovett and Peelle takes over for Ted Williams, who both will move into the team’s pro scouting department.
Undlin, 43, has helped coach the defensive backfields of the New England Patriots (2004), Cleveland Browns (2005-08) and Jacksonville Jaguars (2009-11).
Peelle played tight end in the NFL for 10 seasons, with stints in San Diego (2002-05), Miami (2006-07), Atlanta (2008-10) and San Francisco (2011). He joined the Eagles as an assistant tight ends coach in 2013.
