Eagles’ Kelly brings in familiar face to coach QBs
Ryan Day, who played quarterback under Chip Kelly at New Hampshire, will replace Bill Musgrave as the Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterbacks coach, the team announced Thursday.
Day, 35, comes from Boston College, where he spent the past two years as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. He started in 2003-04 as a graduate assistant coach and led wide receivers from 2007 to 2011.
Day was a three-year starter and record-setting passer at New Hampshire when Kelly was the offensive coordinator.
Day replaces Musgrave, who left earlier this week to become the offensive coordinator of the Oakland Raiders.
