Dolphins sign LB Knott
Linebacker Jake Knott signed with the Miami Dolphins, who are dealing with numerous injuries entering Week 15.
Knott, released by the Eagles with an injury settlement in October, spent two seasons in Philadelphia after signing as an undrafted free agent. He served a four-game suspension for testing positive for a banned substance in the offseason.
Depth is a concern for the Dolphins, who signed Knott to fill the roster spot of safety Louis Delmas.
Several linebackers for the Dolphins are expected to be either out or limited due to injuries: Jonathan Freeny (hamstring), Chris McCain (ankle), Koa Misi (hamstring) and Jelani Jenkins (foot) will be re-assessed Wednesday.
