Dolphins S Delmas suffers torn ACL
Miami Dolphins safety Louis Delmas suffered a torn ACL in Sunday’s 28-13 loss to Baltimore and is out for the season, according to reports.
Delmas is scheduled to have a MRI on Monday. After the game, initial reports said Delmas tore the ACL in his right knee.
Delmas sustained the injury in the fourth quarter and was carted off the field.
Delmas, who signed with the Dolphins after spending five years with the Detroit Lions, started 12 games for the Dolphins (7-6), who travel to New England to face the Patriots next Sunday. Delmas has one interception and is second on the team with 58 tackles.
