Dolphins LT Albert out, TE Cameron questionable vs. Jets
The Sports Xchange
Miami Dolphins left tackle Branden Albert is expected to miss his second consecutive game with a hamstring injury. Albert traveled with the team to London after sitting out last week’s loss to the Buffalo Bills, but was officially listed as doubtful after taking part in only limited practice Friday.
The Dolphins also listed tight end Jordan Cameron (groin) and running back Jonas Gray (calf) as questionable. Tight end Dion Sims will not play as he continues to go through the league’s concussion protocol.
Defensive tackle Earl Mitchell (back) is probable.
Jason Fox is expected to start in place of Albert, depleting an offensive line struggling to protect quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who was sacked twice and constantly under pressure while throwing two interceptions against Buffalo.
Cameron is third on the Dolphins with 10 catches for 151 yards and his ability to stretch the field over the seam is a valuable asset for Tannehill. If he is out or limited, Jake Stoneburner would see increased snaps.
